Pattern is back!

Distinctive surface pattern - a mainstay of international luxury design for decades - is currently enjoying a resurgence in the US market.

This is particularly true for interiors, where the design narrative has shifted away from stark minimalism towards more individualized, expressive spaces.

We could not be happier about this trend!

It all starts with the art

Great pattern - as with great design - is rooted in time-honored motifs and deliberate compositions that tap into our collective subconscious. It can accent a mood, make its own statement, or completely transform a space.

This kind of design magic requires work. There is remarkable rigor to the creative process for high-end pattern - one that emphasizes hand-done artwork inspired by a deep dive into the conceptual theme at hand, along with meticulous attention to all of the details.

When designed to these standards, surface pattern can go a long way towards expressing any product assortment’s seasonal concept, while strongly supporting the company’s over-arching brand identity.

We believe in the timeless appeal of refined print and pattern.

In 2025 Jennifer spent a research sabbatical year in Paris, which included a Textile Design certificate program focused on Surface Pattern. She has since re-dedicated herself to collaborating wherever possible on textiles and wall coverings that feature pattern - in addition to creating her own designs. These are available to current clients only, upon request.
